washing advice

**Water Temperature Control:** Always wash with cold water. (For new jeans, the first wash may involve soaking them in a strong saltwater solution for 1–2 hours to help set the color.) Hot water tends to accelerate fading and shrinkage.
**Hand Washing Preferred:** Gentle hand washing minimizes friction. If using a washing machine, place the jeans in a laundry bag and select a gentle cycle to avoid vigorous agitation.
