washing advice

**Fabric Care Notes:** As a wool-blend fabric, slight pilling may occur during daily wear; this is a normal occurrence and can be gently remedied using a fabric shaver. The elastic waistband at the back may gradually lose its elasticity if subjected to prolonged pulling; it is recommended to avoid excessive stretching.
**Washing Instructions:** Dry cleaning is the preferred method, as it best preserves the wool fibers and the garment's pleated structure. If hand-washing or machine-washing is necessary, use cold water (≤30°C) on a gentle cycle; avoid soaking in hot water to prevent shrinkage and deformation of the fabric.
**Turn Inside Out:** Before washing, turn the trousers inside out to minimize surface friction, thereby protecting the crispness of the pleats and the fabric's natural luster.
**Detergent Selection:** Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid using bleach or strong alkaline cleaning products, as these can damage the wool fibers and cause the fabric to become stiff.
**Drying:** It is recommended to lay the garment flat to air-dry in the shade; avoid hanging it up (to prevent the trousers from stretching out of shape) and avoid direct exposure to sunlight (which can lead to fading and aging of the wool fibers). Do not tumble dry at high temperatures, as this will accelerate fabric shrinkage and the loss of elasticity.
